Identity Server
PI’s Identity Server (IDS) performs biometric matching and hosts our system management portal.
A premium on privacy
Biometric information processed by our IDS is always secure and private. Biometric signatures are stored as digital templates that cannot be reverse-engineered. PI has no access to any user data. And, we offer an option to store biometrics exclusively on badges or cards, with no centralized database.
At Princeton Identity, we go to extreme lengths to ensure the privacy of your company’s and users’ data. We employ the strongest encryption for all communications and data storage. Biometrics signatures are stored as digital templates that cannot be reverse-engineered. And third-party integrations do not require sharing of biometrics data across software platforms.
Flexbility within a unified ecosystem
Leverage biometric credentials to streamline many different onsite applications, including access control, time and attendance, and point of sale. One system can do it all. Configure authentication modes by device, group, or user.
Seamless enrollment
Upload existing employee databases into our IDS to enroll biometrics with minimal administrative involvement and no manual data entry. Enroll students and workers remotely, eliminating bottlenecks at badging offices.
Multiple embodiments
API integrations
We’ve partnered with industry leaders in access control, time and attendance, and point of sale to offer off-the-shelf integrations that provide added value and an enhanced user experience.
Plus, our open API can accommodate others and we’re building out more everyday!
Data ownership
With all of our solutions, PI has zero access to your collected data. If you choose to centrally store enrollees’ biometrics, your company’s cybersecurity systems are resonsbile for keeping them secure. Best practices recommend storing them separately from other PII.
PI also offers a biometric-on-card MFA solution. In this case, users retain exclusive possession of their biometric signatures.
How it works
CapEx or OpEx. You choose.
IDS pricing is bundled with readers and licensing fees. Our SaaS option includes a five-year warranty and all licenses. Or, purchase the devices outright and pay a recurring fee for licenses only.
Either way, you’ll find that our biometric identity solutions offer a surprisingly competitive total-cost-of-ownership.
